More for Guitar Hero II players in July

No specifics were offered, but RedOctane has hinted that some new songs will be released in July.

Posting on the official Guitar Hero website, forum admin 'rodith' told the game's fans to "look for something to come down the pipeline around the July timeframe".

'rodith' wasn't able to offer any further details, but it's assumed that the new content will follow the pattern of the first batch - packs of three songs for 500 Microsoft Points.

The previously released Track Packs offered the following songs:

Track Pack 1: Bark at the Moon - Ozzy Osbourne, Hey You - The Exies and Ace of Spades - Motorhead.

Track Pack 2: Killer Queen - Queen, Take it Off - The Donnas and Frankenstein - The Edgar Winter Group.

Track Pack 3: Higher Ground - Red Hot Chili Peppers, Infected - Bad Religon and Stellar - Incubus.
