According to the LA Times, Martin N. "Marty" Bandier, chairman and chief executive at Sony/ATV Music Publishing - the company that currently owns the John Lennon-Paul McCartney copyrights - a The Beatles themed Guitar Hero game could be on the way.

"It's something we have talked about and something I'd like to pursue," said Bandier.

The first themed Guitar Hero release will feature legendary rock outfit Aerosmith, with the game set to launch on leading platforms in June.

There's no mention of any other Sony/ATV Music Publishing Guitar Hero collaborations, but it's worth noting that the company does own the rights to songs by Jimi Hendrix.
