Red Dead Redemption developer working on GTA 5?
Is Rockstar San Diego helping Rockstar North with GTA 5?
Red Dead Redemption developer Rockstar San Diego could be collaborating with Rockstar North on the development of Grand Theft Auto V, according to the online CV of an ex-Rockstar developer.
The LinkedIn profile of Jonathan G., who was employed by Rockstar as a senior artist, states that he "worked on Grand Theft Auto 5 at Rockstar San Diego" between March 2011 and March 2012.
If true, this wouldn't be the first time that Rockstar's global studios have collaborated with each other on projects; Rockstar North previously worked with San Diego on Red Dead Redemption, and with Team Bondi on LA Noire.
Rockstar North is currently the only studio confirmed to be working on Grand Theft Auto V.
Grand Theft Auto V is not expected to be shown at next week's E3, according to a report published yesterday.

I know that's probably not the exact kind of asset sharing going on here, but it's nice to daydream sometimes.

What this does say to me though is that if the studios are working together, San Diego may not have much going on at their own studio. Since releasing Undead Nightmare for RDR I've not heard much from them. And as for Rockstar North, they have Agent and GTA V on the go. It wouldn't be impossible to believe that San Diego is working on Agent with them as well.
