Rapper Daz Dillinger has demanded that Rockstar offers compensation or “recalls and destroys all unsold copies” of Grand Theft Auto 5 after the publisher allegedly used two of his tracks “without paying him a cent”, TMZ reports.
The entertainment site claims that Dillinger turned down Rockstar’s “offensively low offer of $4,271.00” for the use of “C-Walk” and “Nothin’ But the Cavi Hit” in last month’s record-breaking game, which were both featured on the title’s West Coast Classics radio station.
Dillinger has allegedly insisted that Rockstar makes him a “better offer” or pull the game from stores, telling TMZ that the case is about “respecting an artist’s work. Rockstar didn’t do that here and I can’t let them get away with it.”
According to the site, Dillinger and his attorneys have given Rockstar 14 days to “comply with their demands… or strike a deal.”
