Rockstar has detailed the initial wave of content due to release for Grand Theft Auto Online within the "first few weeks" following launch.
The list of content – all of which will be released via free updates – includes the Content Creator, which provides users with tools to create and publish their own Deathmatches and Races; Capture The Flag mode; additional co-op Heists; and the Beach Bum Pack, containing 4 new beach vehicles, 2 new weapons and over 300 items of beach clothing.
Dates for the DLC have yet to be revealed.
“We’ll have more info on this and much more additional content as our plans develop through the launch period, and as we get feedback from you," said Rockstar. "Please stay tuned for further info and updates. And remember – we need your help to make this experience all it can be.”
As well as revealing DLC plans for GTA Online, Rockstar also warned that access to the multiplayer mode could be “temperamental” in the first few days following launch due to the game's higher than anticipated popularity.
GTA Online launches next Tuesday, October 1.
