GTA 5's main character is an 'East Coast gangster'
Magazine reveals more information on GTA 5.
More information on Grand Theft Auto 5 has been revealed, courtesy of this week's issue of Shortlist.
According to the magazine, GTA 5's protagonist is an "East Coast gangster" who has moved to Los Santos "for a fresh start".
"But, as in The Godfather Part III," the magazine continues, "just as he thought he was out, they pulled him back in."
Alongside the new details, Shortlist published a brand new GTA 5 screenshot, which you can catch at the top of the page.
The character featured in the screen seems to be identical to the one featured in a previous GTA 5 screenshot, and recently released artwork.
Rockstar has yet to confirm whether or not he is GTA 5's lead character.
Loads more info on GTA 5, including additional screenshots, will be revealed by Game Informer later today.
The game is set to release during spring 2013 on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

You need to stop watching Batman Begins in a loop.

"The rumour of multiple playable characters remains unconfirmed. The voiceover is delivered by one person, a presumably middle-aged man (possibly pictured bottom left) talking about moving to the West Coast to escape a life of crime. Although there’s little doubt that, just like Michael Corleone, he gets pulled back in. But unlike most GTA trailers, there isn’t one clear protagonist."
You say:
"But, as in The Godfather Part III," the magazine continues, "just as he thought he was out, they pulled him back in."
BTW, the article on ShortList is old and cover the original debut trailer. We already know about what happened in that trailer. Why are you reporting it now?
At the bottom of the source article is says:
"GTA V will be released in 2012"
It appears David Scammell didn't get the memo.

Myself and a few others re-created the original Chuckie Egg game for the cover of this issue of Shortlist. If you download our app for your smartphone (iOS, or Android), then you can launch it and play it by scanning the cover :D I did all the graphics.
I'm not gonna redirect to our app from your site, because I hate it when others do that. But, if you look inside the front cover of Shortlist there's instructions of how to get our app, what its called and how to make it work :) enjoy!
We've got some pretty dope technology and I'm pushing hard to try and work with more video game related products/franchises. So watch this space :)
