Information on GTA 5’s online mode will be revealed “soon”, Rockstar has promised.

In a post discussing the game’s Crews system, which was used previously in last year’s Max Payne 3, Rockstar asked fans looking for information on the game’s multiplayer to “stay tuned for first info soon”.

“We haven’t detailed the features of Grand Theft Auto V’s online mode as yet (stay tuned for first info soon),” the post said, “but there’s already a whole slew of Crews rallying, preparing and raring to go.”

Rockstar’s post does offer some hints towards what to expect from GTA 5’s multiplayer, however, suggesting that players will be able to “dominate” Los Santos in the game’s online mode.

“In today’s edition of the Crew Cut, we take a look at early field of GTAV Crews out there preparing for West Coast domination later this year,” continues the post.

Earlier this month, parent company Take-Two announced that while Rockstar won’t be exhibiting GTA 5 at E3, it does have plans to reveal additional details on the game during events this summer.

GTA 5 releases on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on September 17. VideoGamer.com was given an early look at the game earlier this month – and came away feeling that Rockstar’s latest could live up to the hype.
