The GTA 5 iFruit companion app is now available to download from the Android Google Play store, Rockstar Games has revealed.

The app launched for iOS alongside GTA 5 earlier in the year, giving players the ability to customise their car and teach their in-game dog new tricks.

"iFruit hooks directly into your experience of Grand Theft Auto 5 with some fun activities to further postpone the need for real social interaction," reads the App's description. "Keep up-to-date on the latest Grand Theft Auto V news, log into the Rockstar Games Social Club, stay connected on LifeInvader and launch other Rockstar Games apps."

Yup, you need a phone thats less than 2 years old to play this apparently.

I wont be downloading it, but 241mb? It doesn't look anywhere near substantial enough to warrant that size.

I stumbled upon the app this morning when looking for something else on Rockstar site. Then I saw the news article. No wonder it's been downloading for the last hour.
