Bizarre hints at Geometry Wars for PS3

Geometry Wars 2 is 'currently an Xbox 360 exclusive'.

Speaking to 1UP, Bizarre Creations games manager Craig Howard has hinted that the studio's hit shmup franchise could be making its way to the PlayStation 3.

"Geometry Wars Retro Evolved 2 is currently an Xbox 360 exclusive title, although PSN is definitely in our company plans going forward," said Howard.

Geometry Wars has already made its debut on Wii and Nintendo DS - the Vivendi Games published Geometry Wars: Galaxies - but the thought of a previously Xbox only franchise also appearing on PS3 won't please the Xbox 360's hardcore followers.

Geometry Wars 2 is scheduled for release on Xbox LIVE Arcade this Wednesday priced 800 MS Points.

I'd love to see GW on Ps3, I'm not sure wether to buy a Ps3 or X360 yet, but I think I'm gonna go with Ps3, considering MGS4 and stuff, but the thought of not being able to play GW2 on Xbox Live kept me from buying the Ps3. Well, if there's any truth to this it'd help me in my decision and I'll buy the Ps3 without a secound of hesitation.
