Gears of War: Judgment release date set for March 19, 2013

All-new game set in the terrifying aftermath of Emergence Day.

Gears of War: Judgment, the prequel developed by People Can Fly, will be released only for Xbox 360 on March 19, 2013, Epic Games and Microsoft have announced.

Judgment takes players back to the aftermath of Emergence Day, before the events of the Gears trilogy. The story follows Kilo Squad, led by Damon Baird and Augustus 'The Cole Train' Cole, as they defy orders and attempt to rescue the city of Halvo Bay from destruction at the hands of the Locust onslaught.

The new game promises new characters, weapons, enemies and multiplayer experiences such as OverRun, an all-new class-based mode that combines elements of Horde and Beast modes.
