Gears 2 title update out now

Should help with reported matchmaking issues.

Gears of War 2 senior producer Rod Fergusson has posted over on the official Gears of War forums, informing fans that a Gears of War 2 title update is now available. If you haven't already downloaded the update, next time you load up Gears 2 when connected to LIVE you should be prompted to do so.

Fergusson notes that the update should help with the previously reported matchmaking issues, but added that in order to get the update out quickly Epic has focused on "immediate infrastructure issues and have left any potential gameplay issues for a future update".

Fergusson added: "We want to thank everyone for their patience during this time and we will continue to monitor the situation. We're hopeful that the matchmaking issues we've seen up till now are a thing of the past."
