Double XP weekend for Gears 2

Runs September 4 through 8.

Epic Games has announced it is running a Gears of War 2 double XP event all weekend.

From September 4 through 8, Gears 2 players can earn double experience for all games, plus an experience bonus of 500 for the winning team in a Public competitive multiplayer match.

Additionally, in Horde, matches will default to Hardcore difficulty, with every tenth wave populated entirely by Sires.

Got to Level 47 from 44. Which is apparently like going from level 1 to 27. Got around 95,000 xp left to get to 50.
