Microsoft has announced that the first Gears of War 2 footage will be viewable on Xbox LIVE Marketplace from 7am BST on May 10. The video will feature a personal introduction by Epic Games Design Director Cliff Bleszinski, with the trailer said to capture the essence of the bigger, better and more badass gameplay in "Gears of War 2."
Fans will be able to see the first in-game look at chainsaw duels, large scale fire fights with Locust Horde and stunning new visuals.
Gears of War 2 is scheduled for release in November 2008.

It would of been best if they don't release any videos showing footage or anything about the game!!! Keep everything a mystery and it will sell like cupcakes, properly do better than GTA IV for sales.

It's wishful thinking to believe that this game could touch GTA IV in terms of sales.
GTA is pretty much pop culture now. Gears of War isn't.

Gears of War was the fastest selling 360 game, and with Gears of War 2 coming out it can even do it again. Like I said its a probability that Gears of War 2 could do better than GTA IV sales, but there is plenty of time left to see whether GTA IV is the biggest game this year....
I have GTA IV its a good game, but Gears of War 2 has just wet my appetite to play the first Gears all over again on Insane.

i think that gears has the potential to outsell GTAIV, especially in the long run. what really surprises me is that people are still picking up gears in the stores today, it's still on the top 20 chart in my local GAME.
