Not sure why you think the handling needs 'sorting out' Xbox. FM2 was generally regarded as one of the best handling racing sims available, so I think a significant improvement is unlikely. Did you try it with the wheel?
The screenshots look pretty good, although if I'm being picky the cars look a little too 'clean' and need some realistic grime, brake dust etc. Nice to see that the tracks have some fans this time around though, FM2 was like racing during off season testing!
Overall looking forward to October 23 but pity that Turn 10 are not increasing the number of cars per race. GT5's 16 cars (or preferably 20) would have been more realistic - must be due to platform constraints.
I actually believe 16 cars would be too many in most cases. It's hard enough to get a clean lap in now without a random 12 year old taking the side of your car off forcing you to quit out. Add more spots and this becomes more likely. 10 may have been feasable but can't beat the tried and tested Project gothem amount and thats how I feel.
Not sure there are articles on the net about it so maybe. Apparantly it's the first time since TOCA that its happened. I'm with you Ninjutsu I'm more of a Arcade Racing kinda guy. Have a thumbs up from me! I'm still looking forward to this however and GT5.
Apparently its the cars only, no V8 tracks like Bathurst unfortunately.
Karlius, in response to your comments regarding 16 being too many online I tend to agree, but it would still be a huge improvement if they had 12, 16, 20 cars for the one player game. I love Forza 2 and look forward to this game, but one of the main disappointments of the original was the 6 car limit.
i think that they could of given the option to increase the number if the player chose to. 10 being minimal 20 being max. could also be used as difficulty settings.

Good point but I don't think it's a power issue. Tocca 1 had 16 cars on the track 18 if you included the Caddie and Tank and the PS1 was hardly a work horse. 8 isn't a bad number but i can see why you'd want more.
The F40 looks very high off the ground in some of those pictures. 18 is the best number to have in a race if you ask me. Enough so there is something to do but still enough space to drive.
It's lookin well, but I suppose after the E3 1080p in your face presentation it had to. Will pick this up some time in the new year after I've put a few hours in to GT5(if it comes out in December).
