Microsoft today revealed to Pro-G the official release date for Microsoft's racing sequel.
Despite the game's release date in America recently being announced as May 29, Microsoft has just confirmed that Forza Motorsport 2 for the Xbox 360 will be released in the UK on June 8 this year.
Speaking to Pro-G, Microsoft UK's Xbox and Games PR Manager Andy Irving said "Forza is on track for the 8th of June".
The news confirms that Microsoft Game Studios' summer release schedule will still be a busy one, despite the fact that Mass Effect has just slipped back to September. Forza Motorsport 2 will be preceded by Halo 2 PC on the May 18, and joined in June by Shadowrun, the first game to allow Xbox 360 and PC owners to play together online.
