Microsoft has trademarked 'Forzavista' days ahead of the firm's next-gen Xbox reveal tomorrow.

Microsoft filed the trademark application last Wednesday (as spotted by Siliconera) in relation to a "feature of interactive video game software which allows players to obtain statistical information of internal and external features of a vehicle and to virtually navigate and operate those vehicles".

The name is clearly related to Forza's Autovista functionality, a feature introduced with Forza Motorsport 4 that lets players explore cars from a first-person perspective.

The timing of the application suggests Microsoft may be gearing up to show a new Forza title at its next-gen console reveal tomorrow evening.

And even if a new Forza doesn't appear tomorrow, expect it to appear at E3. Last week, Microsoft revealed that it had "tonnes of exclusives" lined up for this year's show.
