Final Fantasy XIII X360 to come on three discs?
So says video game rental firm GameFly.
Given the storage limitations of DVD compared to Blu-ray, the Xbox 360 version of Final Fantasy XIII has been expected to arrive on multiple discs, but thus far there's been no confirmation from Square Enix regarding the exact number of discs.
It looks like we might not have to wait for official confirmation, though, with video game rental firm GameFly indicating the game will ship on three DVDs.
"This is a three disc game, but it only counts as one disc against your rental plan," states GameFly.
A disc count of three is in-line with what game director Motomu Toriyama had previously stated Square Enix was aiming for.
According to Kotaku, GameFly isn't one to pluck this kind of info from thin air.
The game's scheduled for release on March 9 for Xbox 360 and PS3.

It's probably compression on the CG, probably decompresses on the fly.

"That's 28.2GB
PS3 version is 39.4GB(32.6 of it movies)
So what's crippled?"

@Rogue_soul: I doubt it, though it would be a nice feature. You'd obviously have to have at least one disc in the drive to authenticate.
