Final Fantasy XIII confirmed for Xbox 360

Square Enix's highly anticipated sequel no longer a PS3 exclusive.

At the Microsoft E3 media briefing Square Enix announced that Final Fantasy XIII is to be released on Xbox 360 day and date with the PS3 version across North America and Europe.

This came out of nowhere and is a major deal for Microsoft as they look to compete with the PS3.

There's no word on the game's release for Xbox 360 in Japan.

wel just to let your know i have had one xbox wel 2 as i wanted the eite and both have never been sent back and both still works and yes i have had them when thay frist come out .
at the end of the day if ps3 was better why aint i got one? not like i have not got the cash for one its just whats the point in spend cash on a down grade.
but like i have said so many time i dont care what poeple say

Saying sony failed when they are outselling the 360 in every territory except the USA proves that you are either American or stupid or if you are american then stupid. Hilarious the crap some people come out with, there was a sniff of victory last year for MS but instead all they did was talk about their two good exclusive games and not realise Sony were gaining rapidly on them. Ms comeback is to pay sh*t loads for GTA dlc and a game already coming to PS3, good business sense there as usual. Ah well, will your 360 still be working by the time FF comes out is the question that should be playing on your mind.

wow Xbot rattling over a single game " tell me this which console will u prefer a console which has two FF games or a console which has only one FF game " if i had to play a girl in IIIX then sorry i was not going to purchase it but Versus is kind of game which i would like to play with a dark character, so Xbox drooling over final fantasy a game which is a major seller in asia and its not even releasing there, and even rest of the world they will get the port of a ps3 version...........Xbots really crack me up, like characters from ratchet and clank

What in the world!!!!!!!!!Final Fantasy XIII on xbox 360. I completely agree with Handwipe. The only major thing going for the PS3 was FINAL FANTASY XIII. Now guess what Microsoft has stole the most important game on the PS3. This is a sad day for all Sony Fans......A sad day indeed... and by the ps3 is dead as well as ps3 profits.

You tell them Bloodstorm!!! Who cares if FF 13 is on the 360. I both own the 360 and the PS3, still doesnt mean its the end of the world now does it!!! Jesus christ, tell me about fanboys, Bloodstorm is totally correct about the business perspective as Square Enix would make a fortune on FF across multi-platform.

Well you cannot say MSG, because MGS2: Sons Of Liberty was also released on the old Xbox so..... Sony have totally lost this war, unless Killzone 2, Uncharted 2, Motorstorm 2, Resistance 2 plus Alpha Protocol gets the PS3 out of the bloody war between the 360. Rock on for the 360!!!

LOL LOL ha ha ha! That is funny as hell when i suggested this i was shot down! I knew this would happen you can't segregate the leading console share aas your losing over half your sales. This is a big boost for the 360!

who wants to play a girl in FF13, i would rather play FFVersusIIIX which by the way is still PS3 exclusive, and even though Final Fantasy 13 is being ported from PS3, so talk about the bottle neck on X360, hey by the way is there one more Microsoft conference, because beside ff 13 nothing interesting way to go micro

and btw did you know when ps3 have a gamercard cuz ppl wants that and sony won't disappoint their fans and do you know how many ppl wants the xbox live to be free and M($$$$$$$) ignored them cuz M$ don't care what you think all they want from you is some money then tell ya "Get out of here" and btw M$ still didn't fix the RRoD!!!

GOD!!! your useless! the future is for sony even the next Xbox (720 or whatever they call it) won't have even a blu-ray player just some add-ons cuz you know what M$ really really love money so instead of making one ultimate machine with a high price they build a small machine with lower price so they can get money from selling some stupid add-ons and from what i've heard PS4 will have a better blu-ray player and the latest blu-ray disc can handle over 400GB!!! now I'm seeing a next FF (for ps4 only) with over 2 weeks of scenes and even if M$ added the HD player with the next xbox that won't change anything cuz blu-ray won the war baby!!!
