EA has pledged not to remove titles from EA Access once they've been added to the service's digital library.

Speaking to CVG, EA exec Peter Moore explained that The Vault (EA's name for its digital library) "will get its share of triple-A titles. We haven't made any announcements to that extent about exactly when, where and how, but the Vault will be substantial."

Initial games offered in the service include Battlefield 4, FIFA 14, Madden NFL 25 and Peggle 2, but Moore says that "new game additions will be determined by franchise and timing."

"We have to make decisions along that way, so there's no template, like 30 days after a game ships it goes into the Vault. I think one of the key things is that once a game goes into the Vault it stays there, it's not going to be taken out, that's a commitment we've made."

EA Access launched in closed beta on Xbox One last month, with the service offering unrestricted access to digital copies of select EA titles, early access to new games and a 10 percent discount on EA content.

A subscription to the service costs £3.99/month or £19.99/year, with a launch due to roll out to all Xbox One users later this summer.

The service has not been announced for any other platforms.

It a pity that their T&Cs do not say the same. I understand that they are covering themselves, but the agreement you undertake with them contains the clause "EA decides, in its sole discretion to remove certain Vault Titles as described above."

Well, this sure changes things. Before I thought it would have been something like PSPlus (games changed frequently), but if this is the model they're going for, it looks promisingly like Netflix. This could become quite big, if they keep adding games.
