Far Cry 3 confirmed by Ubisoft scriptwriter
News
The game 'looks pretty exciting'.
Far Cry 2 was one of the best games released in 2008 and has gone on to sell several million units worldwide, but Ubisoft hasn't, as yet, announced Far Cry 3.
Speaking to OPM, Ubisoft scriptwriter Kevin Shortt has let slip that work on a third game is currently under way.
Asked if he was working on a third Far Cry game, Shortt said: "No I'm not, but I know the team are and what I've seen looks pretty exciting."
It's not an official press release, but that sounds like a pretty solid confirmation that Ubisoft is hard at work on Far Cry 3.

It did feel like a bit of a chore getting from mission to mission in single player, though with concentrated use of the bus stops around the map, it actually makes it far more valid. If you were just dumped straight in front of an objective every time you wouldn't have the option of reconnaissance and tactical freedom. I also feel that while the fire worked and looked excellent, they just weren't big enough.
Co - Op campain would be a fantastic addition or even online team based missions like Dragon Rising and Modern Warfare 2.
Still love it, still play it....
