Bethesda working to replace corrupted Pitt DLC
Hopes to have a working version available to download as soon as possible.
Bethesda's Fallout 3 DLC, The Pitt, was released for Xbox 360 this morning, but gamers quickly began posting on forums with reports of graphical glitches and freezing.
It looks like this problem is specific to the English language version of the Xbox 360 DLC, as a Bethesda blog post explains.
"We are continuing to look into the issues people are experiencing with The Pitt for Xbox 360. As of now it looks like the file for the English version on Xbox Live was somehow corrupted."
The post adds: "We are currently working with Microsoft to remove the existing file off of Live to prevent any further downloads. Our plan is to replace it with a new file as soon as possible. We hope to have another update for you shortly."
So, with a bit of luck a working version of the DLC will be ready to download soon.
