UPDATE 2: Microsoft has clarified that the list of backwards compatible titles supplied to UK media was inaccurate, and that the UK will receive the same titles as those previously listed.

Here is the full correct list for the UK:

UPDATE: The UK is actually getting 19 new Xbox 360 titles, Microsoft has revealed.

Instead of Doritos Crash Course, the UK will be getting Halo Wars, 3 on 3 NHL Arcade, Small Arms and Soulcalibur 2 HD. Quite why there’s a difference between regions isn’t clear, but you can check out the full UK list below:

ORIGINAL STORY: 16 new Xbox 360 titles have been added to the Xbox One’s backwards compatibility list, Microsoft has announced.

Today sees a host of full retail and arcade titles join the service, including Halo: Reach, Fable 3 and Kane & Lynch 2.

The full list of new supported games:

  • Fable III
  • Halo: Reach

Microsoft has also revealed that since backwards compatibility launched on November 12, Xbox One owners have logged more than nine million hours playing Xbox 360 games via backwards compatibility. The most popular titles are Fallout 3, Gears of War 3, Just Cause 2, Assassin’s Creed II and DiRT 3.
