Gamespot has obtained the US sales figures for two of the Xbox 360's biggest holiday 2008 titles, Fable II and Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts.

According to data supplied by the NPD Group, Fable II sold 1.2 million units in 2008 in the US alone, whereas Rare's equally brilliant Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts sold a relatively tiny 140,000 units. In the UK Banjo-Kazooie has sold under 100,000 units, while Fable II has already exceeded sales of 300,000 units (ELSPA).

The Xbox 360's biggest exclusive hit of 2008 was bar far Epic Games' Gears of War 2, which has sold over 2.31 million units in the US since its November launch. The game has also sold in excess of 300,000 units in the UK.

I've heard it's a flop but this much of a flop. Think it should have been released around now when there is nothing. It would probably have done uber well.

That's an amazingly low figure for Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts, VGChartz.com has it down for 430,000 in the US as opposed to NPD's 140,000.
