2K Games has dropped the PR firm that was handling Duke Nukem Forever PR in the US. The Redner Group PR's founder, Jim Redner, publicly threatened to cut off reviewers who had written negative reviews for Duke Nukem Forever.

"Too many went too far with their reviews...we are reviewing who gets games next time and who doesn't based on today's venom," Redner posted in a tweet that has since been removed. "Bad scores are fine. Venom filled reviews...that's completely different," he said in another deleted tweet.

Despite Redner issuing an apology, 2K games confirmed via Twitter that the PR firm no longer represents its titles.

"2K Games does not endorse or condone the comments made by @TheRednerGroup and confirm they no longer represent our products," reads the 2K Twitter post.

Good. Reviewers are allowed to express their opinion on any game. If the game, in Duke's case, got low scores, then it gets low scores. I think this person took it to a complete new level.
