Doom 3 BFG Edition installation prevents users from playing classic Doom

If you want to play the original game you have to run off the game disc.

A rather peculiar issue has been discovered with the newly released Doom 3 BFG Edition on Xbox 360 – out now in the US and on Friday here in the UK.

Those installing the game – including Wario64 - have found they are unable to play the included version of the original Doom, with an on-screen message stating the game can only be accessed when playing from the game disc.

It's not clear if this is also true for the included Doom II.
