dead or alilve 5 see -

Dead or Alive 5 will not only feature translucent clothing, but also varying breast bounce depending on which type of clothing is being worn by the game's brawling beauties.

Speaking to Famitsu, director Yohei Niibori revealed that the usual differences in breast movement between characters is this time being further enhanced with clothing specific changes - though why the girls aren't all wearing sports bras is beyond me.

To make everything a little sleazier, clothing will also have varying levels of transparency, which as you can see in the embedded image results in a wet t-shirt contest style vest.

I don't play the games and wouldn't know. It just seemed, as an outsider, a bit dull and played-out.

I wonder what odds I'd get for a wet T-shirt mode in DOAX3 ;)

Maybe they'll do mud wrestling next! lol

Fair enough. I don't play the games and wouldn't know. It just seemed, as an outsider, a bit dull and played-out. It wouldn't tempt me into wanting to purchase the game over something more visually stimulating. Perhaps if the clothing had been a little more transparent, then I wouldn't have noticed the arena so much ;)

Except the scenario fits in perfectly with Bayman's backstory and he's been in the series since the first game, some 5 years before the first CoD was even released :)

Surely you cant begrudge them a single war-torn arena out of many? :P

I didn't notice the video last time. Looks like another developer presuming that making a game look like Call of Duty will make it sell. Come on.. There are so many possibilities for an exciting and visually impressive arena. But, they show us another dirty brown, war torn environment and a soldier. I thought that this was supposed to be a creative industry?

I do love the environmental effects in that video. No surprise that Team Ninja are still using the same sales tactics as in every other DOA game, though. I'd be disappointed if they didn't mention breasts in at least one press release.

Reducing the counter window is THE single biggest thing DOA needs to make it genuinely competitive. Sadly, it may well take it out of the accessible point it sits in at the moment. That being said, those arenas look incredible.

Counter damage is toned down, active window for countering is smaller and with more recovery. Throwing out a mis-timed counter is likely to be a much bigger risk/mistake.

In all fairness I love the direction they've taken the game so far. A less 'fake' approach to character design, more realistic, varied and exciting settings. The cinematic action approach really makes it look as though an actual fight is going on.

..but the most important thing is, how good is the story?

I applaud a commitment to the graphical representation of a realistic physics simulation, however I do wonder if perhaps the motivations for such aren't somewhat... transparent..?
