Producer reveals that the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions of Devil May Cry 4 will be pretty much identical.
Speaking to IGN, Devil May Cry 4 producer Hiroyuki Kobayashi has confirmed that both console versions of the highly anticipated action sequel should end up pretty much the same.
"As far as the Xbox [360] and the PS3 are concerned, the capabilities and the features in the game we expect will be the same," said Kobayashi. "Our plan is to pretty much make them identical."
Although pleasing to console owners with only one of the two next-gen beasts, the news probably won't please the series' hardcore fan base who were outraged when Capcom announced the game was going multiplatform.
Devil May Cry 4 has been announced for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC and is currently without a release date.

The only reason that games tend to look better on the 360 is because the PS3 is harder to program games for. Once game developers get the hang of it the PS3 will be getting better graphics. This is just lazy though. Making the graphics the same in both the 360 and PS3 version is an insult. Let's hope this isn't the future of the PS3!
