Deus Ex: Human Revolution – Director's Cut, initially announced only for release on Wii U, will now also appear on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC, Square Enix has announced.

"After our Director's Cut announcement we received an overwhelming response from the community asking us to bring this ultimate edition of Human Revolution to other platforms," said Stéphane D'Astous, general manager of Eidos-Montréal. "We're thrilled to accommodate that request. We can now say with pleasure, 'You asked for this!'"

The Director's Cut boasts a number of enhancements over the regular game, offering cleaner visuals, enhanced boss fights, commentary and all DLC integrated into the main game. There's also second screen stuff – also available on consoles via SmartGlass and PS Vita. Analysis

In other words, Square Enix thinks the Wii U version won't sell enough copies to warrant being exclusive.

New stuff to check out

Massive fan of HR. One of my favourite games ever, so I am open to repurchasing it, but slightly improved graphics and re-laid boss battles are not enough;
I thought the boss battles weren't that bad...there are actually several ways to adapt to each boss given your weapons and stealth upgrades. e.g. The AI is good enough to take advantage of your cloak and to do hit and runs etc etc. So adding random rooms to hack turrets seems silly, just b'cos players weren't smart enough to adapt or carry a 'rainy day' weapon (even with a stealth character).
It's AI tweaking and re-balancing the game which needs to be done. Every guard carrys the passcode to a door his near, no-one will ever notice that all the exterior guards never checked in (when you knock them all out) after you infiltrate said facility, restricted patrol routes add to this...& hacking is OP. This is stuff that even MGS and far cry 3 try to address- one is old and the other is an Open world RPG. HR needs to aim higher.
