Dead Space 3 has knocked Ni No Kuni off the top-spot to become this week’s No. 1 best-selling title in the UK Top 40 All-Formats Chart.
Though unit sales have yet to be revealed, EA’s action-horror debuted “comfortably” at the top spot, Chart Track revealed, selling more units during its opening week than any other game released in 2013 so far.
But despite its chart success, sales of Dead Space 3 were down 26.6 per cent on 2011’s Dead Space 2. Clearly, the majority of those Dead Space 3 pre-orders weren’t from the UK…
Last week’s No. 1 Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch tumbles five places to No. 6, in part, we presume, due to the supply issues the game has faced.
The rest of the top five remains identical to last week, though, with FIFA 13, Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, Far Cry 3 and Hitman HD Trilogy taking up the No. 2, 3, 4 and 5 positions respectively.
This week’s biggest mover is Madden NFL 13, re-entering the charts at No. 19, no doubt thanks to last week’s Super Bowl.
