Welcome to Heads-up, our weekly feature which gives you an at-a-glance run-down of the games you'll be able to buy or rent this weekend. Every Monday we'll pick out the best of the bunch, link to our reviews and previews and keep you in the video game loop so you have enough time to pre-order for Friday's post. Time to smash open your piggy bank so you can spend its coin-shaped guts.

Worth a look

This week sees EA's sixth Dead Space game hit stores, although it's the third in the main series. Early buzz isn't great due to the feeling that the game has diverged too far from the original Dead Space experience, but we'll give you the full verdict tomorrow. Scribblenauts Unlimited is a more sure-fire quality experience, and a game well worth picking up if you're looking for new games for your Wii U.

And the rest...

First of the North Star: Ken's Rage 2 is the other notable release this week, but we can't honestly recommend anyone picks this up, even if you're a fan of the manga.

New stuff to check out

Thought that Scribblenauts had been moved back again to March? Maybe I read it wrong. If not, then that's great and I'm getting a copy.

Fingers crossed for positive Dead Space reviews. Might be my first full-priced purchase this year :)

Wasn't really impressed by the demo mate. I did like the enemies flying underneath the snow on which the demo offered you. The crafting seems to be more complex, not in terms of how to navigate etc, just more weight to it than before and making you think what to improve.

Bargain bin buy Dead Space 3. More likely for the summer game heap!

Scribblenauts Unlimited I'm hoping will be in the summer Steam sale, looks really good but I'm already getting Dead Space and Aliens.

Scribblenauts unlimited is something I may download off the eshop at some point down the line, depending on how decent the Wii U game line up is fo this year.
