Dead Space 3 screenshot hits the internet

Graphic novel short also appears to tie-in to the sequel.

An image which appears to be the first screenshot from Dead Space 3 has appeared online alongside the game's logo.

The image, apparently originating from EA's website, shows a character wearing the franchise's trademark RIG suit moving through the debris-filled orbit of a planet.

A countdown on EA's website points to a reveal on Monday, which is when EA's E3 press conference takes place.

EA has also been showing off a new Dead Space graphic novel short, which seems to tie-in very closely to previous Dead Space 3 reports.

Series hero Isaac Clarke looks set to return, this time with the help of a co-op buddy.

Looks a bit like Shepard floating through space in Mass Effect 2. So the question is are they making Dead Space or trying to cash in on Mass Effect?

Hmmm... I do so enjoy such sequences in games, and liked the antigrav sections in the first game. If they play an increased role, then DS3 may just grab my attention after all...
