Facebook teases a third game in the series.
Capcom could be about to announce a new game in the Dead Rising series, with Frank West likely to take the leading role.
A post on the Dead Rising Facebook page suggests Dead Rising and Dead Rising 2: Off the Record protagonist Frank West is to star in an all-new game set on a holiday paradise.
The post states: "I'm getting packing for my new adventure - camera, notebook and baseball bat. What else would I need for a break in paradise? - Frank"

With the Spike VGAs just days away, a reveal during the show - which is a popular platform from which to make announcements - seems a real possibility.
The paradise setting also suggests Frank might find himself on desert island location, similar to that featured in Dead Island.
