Darksiders, the new fantasy, action adventure title from THQ and Vigil Games, is a pretty impressive effort and worthy of a very respectable 8/10, and it looks like the experience will soon get even better on Xbox 360.

The current retail release of Darksiders on Xbox 360 suffers from more than your average amount of screen tearing, but developer Vigil plans to put this right with a soon to be released patch.

Studio head Joe Madureira told IGN: "It's something that's really not a difficult fix for us and so we're going to implement a patch to resolve the problem. We're fairly certain it'll happen really soon so look out for it."

Darksiders is out now for Xbox 360 and PS3.

oh and judging by the video the game looks pretty boring and limited anyway, the guy playing must have pulled the same fatality about 40 times, yawn, after being spoiled by the sublime ninja gaiden 2 with a move set as long as the human brain can cope with id be bored of this game in about 10 mins

Hmm... it does seem to be happening a lot more this gen than previously. Is the technology starting to struggle, as it seems to be a common problem across many different games/engines.

It seems to be just the right side as the left of the road looks in sync. I don't think its because of the PSP power but a slight mistake from a programmer.
I would have to play the game mind to get a better view of it though.

Is it just that track Rouge_Soul?

Is it me or is screen tearing becoming quite common now? I usually notice it in racing games or first person shooters. It's really quite annoying once you see it... as it can't be unseen!

What is "screen tearing".
I've probably experienced it, but don't know exactly what it is...
