Darksiders handed January 8 release

PS3 and Xbox 360 action adventure to welcome in the New Year.

THQ has announced that its action adventure title Darksiders from internal studio Vigil Games, will be released in the UK on January 8, 2010 for Xbox 360 and PS3.

In Darksiders players take on the role of War, one of the four horsemen of the Apocalypse, and will explore a world set 100 years after the biblical Apocalypse. Along the way players will travel through dungeons, battle demons and angels, and strike deals with unsavoury characters in an epic quest to restore the balance between Heaven and Hell.
