It's well worth checking out Digital Extremes' impressive action title.
Digital Extremes' Dark Sector was released a few months back on Xbox 360 and PS3 and managed to impress us with some very solid gameplay and at times quite fantastic visuals. It had its fair share of problems, but still ranks as one of the best third-person action titles of the current-generation.
If for some reason the game passed you by now is the chance to give it a go thanks to the release of a playable demo for Xbox 360. You get to take control of Hayden Tenno, a hit-man for the CIA, and give his very useful and extremely deadly glaive a once over. The glaive is a spinning blade which is ideal for dismembering enemies, but also doubles as a handy tool for grabbing distant ammo and pressing switches.
