New date for the multi-format sequel.

Following news that Crysis 2 would miss its planned autumn 2010 release date, developer Crytek has announced that the game is now scheduled for release at the end of March 2011.

Crysis 2 for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC will now be released in North America on March 22 and across Europe on March 25.

Earlier this month EA COO John Schappert said the game had been delayed "for a better window and polishing".

March just got better for me. Birthday in that month and now this fecking awesome game. Just need the 3DS to come out in March and I'm on a roll in that month.

Gives me a bit more time to mull over its story & gameplay. Played 1st and it was ok but 2 just seems to be trying too hard to beat Cod, MoH & MGS.
