crysis -

Crysis on Xbox LIVE and PlayStation Network will be released October 4, priced 1,600 MS Points and £15.99, respectively, EA has revealed.

The formerly PC only FPS, which pushed even top-end rigs to melting point back in 2007, has been re-jigged on Crytek's console-friendly CryEngine 3. The engine update allows for new lighting and effects, and the addition of the Nanosuit controls seen in the sequel.

For those with the correct kit, Crysis will also be playable in 3D.

I am really looking forward to getting Crysis 1. I really enjoyed Crysis 2 as it felt fresh and different from all the other FPS' out at the time. Once question I'd like confirmation if possible; will it have multiplayer? Unfortunately, I doubt very much that it will have a level editor like it's PC counterparts, but I really liked the user friendly level editors of the console Farcry games, which shares connections with the Crysis titles and it's parent developers. I've alwasy liked a bit of free-form level design.

I thought the same. Might be up to the publisher though?

At least you can choose to get them by going in to Game now and picking up a download card for the game. Smart move from them to not miss out on the download games scene.

Got a question to ask. Isn't RE4 also priced at 1600MSP? I went to the Game Marketplace and RE4 is only showing up £14.99, nothing of 1600MSP. Anyone cofirm that you can use 1600MSP to get it, as I am slightly confused by it. Crysis 1 is looking like a day one purchase, as I don't mind getting some MSP for such a hit game on the PC.
