Two more long-time employees leave Infinity Ward
Tally up to at least six staff who have left.
The exodus of staff from Modern Warfare developer Infinity Ward continued last night with the confirmed departure of veteran programmer Jon Shiring and designer Mackey McCandlish.
Shiring announced his resignation via Twitter (spotted by 1UP), stating: "After almost 6 years at Infinity Ward, I resigned today. I'm incredibly proud of everything we accomplished and I'm going to miss everyone."
Kotaku has also learned that Modern Warfare 2 lead designer Mackey McCandlish left the studio yesterday, having spent eight years at Infinity Ward.
The pair follow the high profile firings of co-founders Jason West and Vince Zampella, plus the recently departed lead designer Todd Alderman and lead software engineer Francesco Gigliotti. It's not known if the ex-Infinity Ward staff will make their way to the newly formed West and Zampella studio, Respawn Entertainment.

Clearly Activision's Hitler esq running of the studio has just gotten too much I think the final nails in the coffin were the Map Packs and more importantly Activision reclaiming the artistic license of the Modern Warfare Brand. Clearly the staff at Infinity Ward weren't happy with the direction Activision were pushing the product.
