Microsoft has announced that the Xbox 360 is the console for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 fans, revealing that the first content packs for the blockbuster FPS will be available exclusively first on Xbox 360 this spring.

Exactly how much of an exclusivity period the Xbox 360 will boast hasn't been revealed.

Modern Warfare 2 was released on November 10, 2009 and went on to become the biggest entertainment launch in history, shattering theatrical box office records in its first five days.

Another ridiculous scenario where a multiplatform release gets the exclusive treatment. I don't care if PS3 will eventually get the DLC. It's still wrong that they play favourites. Thank god for PS3's awesome exclusives. At least that's something that Microsoft can't steal from us...

well honestly i don't care im happy with the regular game for now,and to boot i still have to get through AC2 and MGS4 so i wont need or want the dlc for quite awhile.

I'm sure the PS3 will get something which the 360 might not get in the process? Or the PS3 may not get anything and get this piece of DLC later in the year.

I don't see the point of people moaning about the DLC not coming out the same time as the 360. There is good games coming out which will soon sort that out? Bad Company 2 is where its going to be at.

I suspect it'll only be exclusive for a short period of time - a week or two or a month at most.

Most probs new maps for online,i dont think i have ever seen them make anything for single player.

What's the DLC going to be?
New maps, weapons, co-op missions?
I'm just happy I can get it before the PS3 :D
Makes me feel better about the fact that PS3 seems to be getting a lot of better exclusives recently lol.
