First Modern Warfare 2 maps out March 30

Infinity Ward launches 'Mapathy' campaign.

Last night Infinity Ward launched the Mapathy website, raising awareness of the fictional affliction.

Mapathy (n.) [map-ut-thee] (often expressed as, "How the hell did you know I was there?!") is a state of indifference to the same old maps one has been playing for the last several months. The Mapathetic individual no longer derives pleasure from blowing up people hiding in the cockpit or on top of the crane. More than 20 million people may be at risk for Mapathy.

The good news is that a cure is coming to Xbox LIVE on March 30.

If it hasn't clicked yet, this is Infinity Ward's way of announcing the release date for Modern Warfare 2's first map pack.
