Activision has released the first official artwork for Call of Duty: Black Ops 2's Zombies mode.

Is the shot teasing continuity between this and the Zombies levels from the original Black Ops? At the end of the Moon map, released in the Rezzurection DLC, you blow up Earth: is the new female character standing on the rubble of our now-obliterated planet?

Zombies in Black Ops 2 is rumoured to feature support for up to eight players, and will run on an improved multiplayer engine that could potentially pack more of the undead blighters onto our screens. New Zombies modes have also been promised.

What would you like to see in Black Ops 2's Zombies mode? A return of Sarah Michelle Gellar, perhaps?
