Double XP weekend for CoD4 this month

Infinity Ward is planning a promotion on the weekend of September 12-14.

Now that PAX is over it's back to work as normal for Infinity Ward community manager Robert Bowling and he's got plans for an Xbox LIVE / PSN promotion on the weekend of September 12-14.

He's promising more info in the near future but states "it'll have Double XP attached to it for all those hungry for some power-levelling on Call of Duty 4".

While technically the promotion is unrelated to new Playlists, Bowling's hope is that they'll be finished in time to coincide with the Double XP weekend.

"Our awesome QA team and producers are helping me push hard to make it happen by the weekend of the big promotion, no promises, but as always I'll keep you updated on the progress," he concluded.
