Criterion dates Burnout Cagney update

Will be rolled-out at 9am UK time on July 10.

The impressive sounding Cagney update planned for Criterion's Burnout Paradise is now only around a month away from release, with the developer today announcing the update will be available from 9am UK time on July 10, 2008.

The update is pretty considerable and will include amongst other things: three new Freeburn game modes (Road Rage, Stunt Run and Marked Man), 70 Freeburn Challenges, new vehicles, new liveries, Ranked Race changes and custom soundtrack support for PS3.

Following Cagney, Burnout players can look forward to the Davis update in August (motorbikes) and then the Eastwood update in the autumn which promises a new island.
