Gears 3 beta info this week
Bulletstorm isn't the only way to gain access.
Expect to hear plenty of info on the upcoming Gears of War 3 beta this week, the franchise's executive producer Rod Fergusson has said.
Posting on Twitter, he said: "Lot's of Beta info coming later this week!"
Fergusson's post came amongst a series of Tweets relating to Gears of War 3 beta access via Bulletstorm Epic Edition. Whilst the 'kill with skill' shooter won't be the only way into the beta, it will guarantee entry with a headstart.
"You need the disc," he said.
"Bulletstorm Epic Edition codes only work with Bulletstorm. It creates a button on the main menu for the Beta. Doesn't work without it."

Much has been said about Microsoft's apparent lack of Xbox 360 titles this year, so a mid-year Gears of War 3 beta would go a long way to help satisfy gamers desperate to get their hands on the next big thing.

All they need to do is buy the add on hardware; a slim black box that plugs into the same tv as the ps3 and has a special light up ring.
