Gearbox trademarks Modern War Hero

Also World War II Hero, War Hero and Brothers in Arms.

Superannuation reports that Gearbox Software, developer of the Brothers in Arms series and upcoming shooters Borderlands and Aliens: Colonial Marines, has filed trademark registrations for World War II Hero, War Hero, Brothers in Arms War Hero and Modern War Hero.

While this doesn't mean Gearbox is making four new war games, it's interesting to see the studio could be thinking of taking its FPS franchise into the modern era. It worked for Call of Duty.
