Borderlands 2 Mechromancer DLC hints at future DLC

New Trophies point to Captain Scarlett and Her Pirate's Booty.

Yesterday's Borderlands 2 Mechromancer DLC includes new PS3 trophies which seem to point towards upcoming DLC, reports ShackNews.

Bronze trophy Gadabout has players exploring "all named locations in Oasis and the surrounding Pirate's Booty areas" in what is assumed will be the Captain Scarlett and Her Pirate's Booty DLC.

Other trophies include Gold Treasure Hunter and Silver Completionist.

Borderlands 2 PC players have also discovered the expansion's prologue hidden without the game's source files.

"Legends speak of Captain Blade's Lost Treasure of the Sands. Of a prize so great, that men would turn the sands red in pursuit of it. Of a pirate queen, courageous and deadly, who would stop at nothing to find it. Of a monstrous Leviathan. Of the Vault Hunters who journeyed to the desert town of Oasis, not knowing the horrors that would befall them."

Expect Gearbox to announce the DLC pretty soon.

Also rumoured a vendor who sells high level gear with newly introduced “Seraph Crystals” as payment. I already bought the Season pass and i'm set for any DLC to hit.

Now that I've completed the first play through with my Assassin, I'm going through with the new Mechromancer, I'll start my second play through with my Assassin when they officially announce the new DLC.
