Blue Dragon European release on August 24

Microsoft Game Studios' Japanese RPG ready to excite Xbox 360 gamers.

Blue Dragon, from Mistwalker and Artoon, has already gone down a storm in Japan, and today Microsoft has confirmed that the Japanese RPG will be winging its way to Europe on August 24.

Assuming the role of Shu, players will find themselves exploring and discovering the vast world of Blue Dragon. Shu, with his band of four friends embark on a quest to combat the evil forces that have come to their world. The unlikely heroes possess the magical power to control their phantom shadow creatures, ranging from a Minotaur to a phoenix to a dragon.

The game will be rated 12+ and will carry an estimated retail price of £44.99.
