Ubisoft has announced Blazing Angels Squadrons of WWII for release on the PlayStation 3 at the system's launch.
Having recently announced that the WWII aerial combat title would be making its way to the Wii, Ubisoft has now revealed that Blazing Angels will also be released for the PlayStation 3.
The game was received fairly well for Xbox 360, Xbox and PC, and we're promised the same and more for the PS3. Not only will the game feature new missions, but Ubisoft says the game will also make use of the PlayStation 3's new motion sensing controller. There's also online multiplayer for up to 16 players.
Blazing Angels Squadrons of WWII is should be available on November 17 at the launch of the PlayStation 3.

For example, Metal Gear Solid 4 will not see a release until fall of 2007. Final Fantasy XIII is not scheduled to be released until the summer of 2008. Plus, we need to consider that Final Fantasy games NEVER come out on time; they are always delayed a couple times. WWE Smackdown vs Raw 2007 was delayed until the winter of 2007, and Unreal Tournament 2007 was not even mentioned for the Playstation 3 when Midway announced that it was being delayed for the PC and the Xbox 360. This means that the PS3 version may be cancelled, like so many other PS3 games.
I will wait until the fall of 2007 before considering the Playstation 3. A price drop will probably have happened by then, and more games will have been released. The majority of games being released for the PS3 are also going to be on the Xbox 360, and when the games were shown at trade shows like E3, the Xbox 360 versions looked better. So, I will definitely wait until the PS3 price has dropped before I consider purchasing it, especially with all of the negative publicity it has been receiving from all of the major websites and magazines.
