Portal 2 - Xbox 360, PS3 and PC

Valve didn't actually show anything they haven't already revealed, but when the footage is this good I couldn't help but remain impressed. Besides, looking at Portal 2 a second time allowed me to focus on the incidental details - the pneumatic tubes, the factory lines and the laboratory slowly stitching itself back together. Case in point: as you activate an Aperture Science Sentry Gun production line, the robots all switch on at exactly the same time - lighting the room up in hundreds of flicking red dots. It's absolutely gorgeous, with an art direction that few other games will be able to match.

No Crysis 2, MOH, KZ3 or GT5. Some big omissions from that list, but the games on it do look pretty amazing.

I'm guessing The Last Guardian will be at TGS this year in a big way...I hope.

Some interesting games on that list. I guess the omission of games such as MOH and Crysis 2 only shows how strong the other games are.

Still no sign of The Last Guardian. Most disappointing.

Was Mortal Kombat shown at Gamescom? I do like the carnage and fun you can have with Bulletstorm. Looking forward to play that game. The new gameplay footage of the game was good and the ending well... I just hope the game came out this quarter instead.

Portal 2 looks great, it will be more of the same but that doesn't matter. But it has to be Deus Ex that is floating my boat.

Hannnggg on. I stopped being interested in Enslaved as soon as I read "Ninja Theory". But if it's not Heavenly Sword-like gameplay then this has me very interested :D
