bioshock tease -

2K could be preparing to make an announcement linked to the original BioShock, judging by a tease posted on Twitter.

Posted by 2K's UK account this morning, the tease features an image of a poster for BioShock's Eve's Garden, along with the caption: "Oooo, what COULD this mean?!"

According to the BioShock Wiki, Eve's Garden was an exotic dancing venue in Rapture's Fort Frolic, and featured in both the original BioShock game and BioShock 2's multiplayer.

Could 2K be working on a next-gen remaster of the original BioShock? Or could it be hinting at something else entirely?

I sure hope it's not some re-release in HD. I'm tired of all of these games getting re-released because they want to cash in on the games again. I welcome new games in the series and I really hope that's the case.

What about the other classics? As console generations come and go, there will be more and more 'classics'. You can't keep remaking/remastering stuff.

I don't know, I actually wouldn't mind a remake all that much. I was quite literally just considering the pros and cons of trading in my PS3 for a PS4 and one of biggest cons would be loosing access to the Bioshock series.

It's an interesting issue really because video games like Bioshock really should be preserved like any other culturally significant artwork, but the technical requirements for doing so are so much higher than anything else.

I"d put good money on it being a remaster of 1 & 2. Annoyingly.

Agree completely. Because next-gen needs another remake!

Please don't be a re release. Just don't - if you do, 2K, then you'd may as well change your Twitter handle to GreedyBastards2K14.
